This year I was selected to be a Young Ambassador for the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation. Every year HLF hosts a Kids Jam, in partnership with Jam Kancer in the Kan to raise money to benefit families affected by cancer. Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, we are still hosting a smaller, social-distanced KidsJam. I am so lucky to be presented with this opportunity to help those in need in my community and am so excited to host my own local KidsJam on August 22nd!
ABOUT THE 2nd Annual HLFYA (Virtual) KidsJam
To Join the 2020 HLFYA (virtual) KidsJam:
* Teams are 2-players each
* Each team must donate to participate
* Donating $150 or more includes 2 event t-shirts
Format (2 Weekends/Events):
* The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Young Ambassadors and Alumni are hosting Local Qualifier Jams from Aug 20-23
* Sophia Rizzo's Local Qualifier Jam will take place Aug 22nd, 2020 and teams will play until they have a local champion. Prizes will be awarded to the local champion
*Donate to become a team and participate in the event!
* On Aug 29 or 30 (TBD) HLF partner Jam Kancer in the Kan will host a virtual 2020 HLFYA KidsJam Championship Tournament (Zoom) amongst the winners of the local qualifier jams. One 2020 Champion will be named. Will it be you!?
