Henry Doherty's Fundraiser
PUCKS FOR A PURPOSE: A Charity Street Hockey Event
Donate to Fields for Kids and support the next generation of athletes!
Hello! My name is Henry Doherty, and I am a freshman at Mamaroneck High School. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to represent the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation as a 2024 Young Ambassador this year.
Henrik Lundqvist was a remarkable goalie for the New York Rangers for over a decade, and in 2014, he created the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation. Through its fundraising efforts and community outreach, the foundation strives to make positive changes in the lives of children and adults worldwide through education and health services.
As a young ambassador for the foundation, I am inspired to give back to my hometown by raising money for a local charity called Fields for Kids. Fields for Kids is a volunteer organization committed to working with local leaders to maximize access to quality fields for recreational activities in my community.
Growing up, sports played a crucial role in shaping who I am today. From the thrill of scoring my first goal to the camaraderie of being part of a team, sports taught me the values of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. Now, I am passionate about providing the same opportunities for other children in my hometown.
With your support, we can build a brighter future for our community. By donating to our cause, your generosity will not only enhance the physical landscape of our town but also empower the next generation of athletes to chase their dreams.
How You Can Help:
